We offer a fully managed design service from our office in Southampton. Our software engineers and FPGA design engineers have an average of more than 10 years of experience. We typically take on work packages that we manage using Scrum. We host a multitude of online project services within our Client Portal including an electronic Scrum board, simulation servers and continuous integration servers. We work with clients in the UK and worldwide, providing clear project visibility and open communication.

Video Compression
Imicast has design engineers expert in a wide range of video compression standards
including HEVC, H.264, and JPEG 2000 codecs.

Video Transport
We have an intimate understanding of video, audio and ancillary IP transport standards such as
MPEG2 Transport Stream and uncompressed transmission via SMPTE 2022-5/6.
We have an awareness of the recently approved SMPTE ST2110 standard.

Video Analysis
We are familiar with many image processing techniques that we apply to our video analytics work,
often using the Open Source Computer Vision Library, OpenCV.
